Sassy is a special girl to our rescue and we are looking for just the right family for her. While we have received numerous applications for Sassy, we are looking for just that special someone. Sassy was found wandering as a stray when she was a small puppy prior to our rescuing her. In turn, she doesnt always trust or want to come in right away from playing outside. We spend extra time, patience and snacks to lure Sassy to come to us. She needs someone / a family that is willing to take the time needed to build a positive relationship based not only on cookies, but more important - Love. Sassy responds well to some of our fosters that she has bonded with so we know she is a loving and sweet, but cautious girl. Sassy is a beautiful dark brindle and is just over a year old. She loves to play in the yard for as long as youll let her and loves water even more. We have a small pool that Sassy entertains herself with which really shows her personality. She is a baby at heart and just needs someone to love and baby her. Sassy has learned her basic commands but like most rescue dogs, she could use a brush up with some professional training. Sassy is kept social and does like to play with some of the other dogs we have. If you are looking for a special pup to adopt, maybe Sassy is who youre looking for. Please APPLY
