Description
This is JuJu she is a 3 1/2 year old female who weighs 5lbs. JuJu loves to sit in your lap and will follow you all over the house. JuJu was surrendered to Yorkies Inc due to her not being housebroken. Her new family had her for almost two weeks and were not able to house train her. Due to them working full time they thought it was best to surrender her to Yorkies Inc so she could find a home who would be able to spend more time working with JuJu on her house training. 9/10/09 Our vet confirmed our suspicion that JuJu has a UTI (urinary tract infection). JuJu will need to be on an antibiotic for the next two weeks and then go in for a re-check. We feel once the UTI has cleared JuJu will be easier to house train as she has already showing improvement. 10/7 While JuJu has improved greatly with her housetraining she is still leaking urine at night while sleeping. We have had both x-rays and an ultra-sound done and our vet did not find any abnormalities nor bladder stones. JuJu is on a new medication and will begin another medication to see if these help with her nocturnal incontinence. We also will be getting another urine sample to help determine if her UTI has been cleared.
